David Hunter is a Civil Engineer and Segment Development Manager for Corrosion Under Insulation (CUI), High Heat  & Insulation Coatings for Hempel.  He has 28 years of coatings and corrosion experience which includes consulting in CUI, protective coatings, linings, composites, and passive fire protection materials.

 

He holds many industry recognized certifications including:

• National Insulation Association (NIA) Certified Thermal Insulation™ Inspector

• NIA Insulation Energy Appraisal Program (expired)

• API 570 Piping Inspector

 

David is a lead instructor for many AMPP courses for the past 16 years including:

• AMPP Corrosion Under Insulation Course

• AMPP CIP-1 & 2

• AMPP / NACE Offshore Corrosion Assessment Technician

• AMPP / SSPC Fireproofing Inspector
